Pius X Home and School Society, Greenbacks, Roncalli/Seton Home and School, the Marianist Affiliates, Pueblo Historical Society, Pueblo Knife and Fork Club and the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary No 557. Frances established a brick museum at Summit Brick and Tile Co and was active in the International Brick Collector's Association. She belonged to Kiwanis Bridge and was an acomplished bridge player who loved playing bridge with her many friends. She and Ralph were supporters of education through their involvement with Pueblo Community College, CSU-Pueblo, College of Santa Fe, Unv. of Notre Dame, St. John Neumann Catholic School and the Marianist Affiliates. 
Anecdote*Fran Welte is the source for many of the Nason family photographs and memorabilia. She was of tremendous good help to Diana Dunn and cheered her on in her Nason family research efforts.
