CauseDeathdied accidentally as the result of gasoline burns received when some garments her mother was cleaning in the basement of their home became ignited by fumes reaching the furnace. Her mother, hysterical, badly burned and temporarily blinded, ran to the street for help. Peggy, a human torch, managed to make her way to the street.
