Funeral7 July 1886"The funeral services of the late Mrs. Luther Graves were held at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon from her late residence on Sheldon St., the Rev. Mr. Ranney officiating." 
Note*"Mrs. Graves was in her 82nd year, and was a life long member of St. Luke's Episcopal church. She came here with her husband from Rochester, N. Y., in 1860. His death occurred in 1883 at the age of 83.
Two daughters are left, one Mrs. Ludville Nogle, a resident of this city. Among the floral tokens was a bunch of wheat by Mrs. Hattie O'Dell, which was much appreciated."

Anecdote*Richard Norman Gascoigne; Ann and Richard bought a horse farm in OH they named Fox Run Farms. Ann learned to ride, as did their daughter, Elisabeth (Bitsy). Ann won many ribbons for side saddle riding and was a charter member of the International Side Saddle Organization and the first person in the state of Ohio to be qualified to be both judge and instructor. At Fox Run Farms they boarded horses and gave riding lessons and for many years produced “The Wonderful World of Horses,” for which Ann wrote the scripts, at the Geauga County Fair. After Richard died, Ann and Bitsy and staff continued to run the farm.

Note*William Nelson Lamkin; "William (Nelson), b c. 1880 (?), was my gr-gr-grandfather. There were 12 children in his family: ten boys and two girls. They were very poor. They did not stay closely in touch with each other. The three oldest boys were Frank, b 1875, Alex, b 1879 and Wilhelm, b 1880.

I have pictures of Mamie who was born in 1893, William, b 1882, Napoleon, b 1883, Levi, b 1891, Peter, b 1896, Hubert, b 1899 and George, b 1900 (circa years). Three or four of these boys served in WWI in the Army and all returned.
