Anecdote* | "When I was a child growing up in the home of my grandmother, Zeona, in South Bend IN, I remeber trips up to Three Rivers MI, just across the Michigan state line, to visit Margaret Wiers and other members of the family. I was just a small child, so I don't remember the adults very well, but I do remember Margaret's name, and I remember what the house looked like. We'd stay for the afternoon, maybe, and then head back to South Bend. It was a nice older house in a peaceful neighborhood. The information in the chart I'm sending you was from my mom and her first cousin, Clarissa Lappo, who lives in the Muskegon area. Clarissa and her husband owned a lumber company in the Muskegon area and there was a Jack Christensen who worked for them when I was young. I remember him." Witness: Jacob T.
