Annie then returned to Eugene where he was living in Amherstburg Ontario around 28 November 1882. She stayed until 24 May 1883, then returned to Detroit. On June 8th she came back to Ontario with a 15 day old female infant claiming the child was Eugene's. He found out this child came from the Home for the Friendless in Detroit where the child's actual mother still lived. |
