(Witness) Event-Misc | Guy Cyril Meldrum; Ann Marie Meldrum shared this with Bev Frielink Camp in 2005: "Here is how my tree works back from my grandfather: Guy C. Meldrum, his father was William Meldrum, his father was Alexander Meldrum, his father was James Meldrum, his father was George Meldrum..... now this Meldrum came right from Scotland. Birth-1737, Death 1817". Ann Marie's sister, Maureen Elson, moved to Crystal Falls with her husband about 15 years ago...her husband Richard travels for work on the big pipe lines... Maureen opened up the copy shop; a few years later she talked Ann Marie into coming up north too, to help her in the shop. Their immediate family lives in the Alpena area (I think their dad's name is Robert; their mom's name is Gerry). For a long time we kidded each other, saying we could be sisters because we get along so well - we have the same goofy sense of humor, family values, etc... I've met two of their brothers (they have four of them) and we all hit it off immediately. Isn't that weird?!! What a small world. | |
