Anecdote*Mrs. Frank Bader, age 83, former pioneer resident of Burnside, died at the home of her son, Leo J. Bader, of Detroit, 16 Jan, after an illness of over nearly 4 years of paralysis. At the age of 11 she came to MI with her parents. She and Frank Bader had 11 children. She was survived by her husband; four sons and six daughters: Frank of Boyne City, Mrs. Robert DeShields of Reedley CA, Mrs. James Small of Chicago, Mrs. Joseph Delaney of Gregory, Leo J. of Detroit, Mrs. Thresa Blonde of Burnside Twp., Mrs. John Harper of Rich Twp., Mrs. Rose Swoishe of North Branch Twp and Anthony of Deerfield Twp.; 44 grandchildren; 24 gr-grandchildren.
