Alan Jeske and Denny Chabot started Alden Hydraulic, Inc. in 1989 after several years of sevice in the hydraulic repair department at a large forklift company. They moved to a larger facility located on Production Drive in April 1997.

The logo design for Alden was created by Alan.

Al assumed sole ownership in February 2000 so that Denny could pursue a career with his church. Bryan Shipway, Al's nephew, returned to Alden Hydraulics in 2000 when Al was diagnosed with kidney cancer. Bryan was previously employed with Alden but had left to assist his father to start Shipway X-Ray. He assumed sole ownership in January 2004 and continued to provide the same level of quality service at competitive rates that Al and Denny established. Due to the depressed economic conditions in the U.S. the shop closed in 2008.
