Anecdote*"John Richard Murphy, 73, died Wednesday, July 19, 2006, in Warren. He was born Aug. 28, 1932, in Detroit.

Mr. Murphy worked for T.I. Automotive for 47 years. He was a decorated Korean War veteran and served as president of UAW Local 369. He was a union representative at T.I. Automotive, a committee man and a VFW member. He enjoyed bowling and taking care of his lawn on his tractors.

He is survived by his children, Joseph (Stacey) Murphy, John Richard Murphy and Daniel Murphy; sister, Shirley Jenuwine; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Joyce Ann Murphy.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot Ave., Roseville, with the Rev. Randell Merren officiating. Burial will be in Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Township." by Kaul Funeral Home
