In 1976 she married Frank Orr who passed away in 1985. 
AnecdoteDenny introduced her to golf and they were members of the Ida Grove Country Club where she made a hole-in-one. They played in many two ball tournaments.
She also loved trying new recipes, tending to the flower garden, shopping, pinot grigio, crossword puzzles, sudoku puzzles, watching sports on tv with Denny, and spending time with family and friends.

Also hosting the party, in addition to niece Marjorie Troff, were Peter and his wife. The Van Haaftens winter in FL, enjoy fishing and Trina enjoys sewing and gardening. They are both retired employees of the Kalamazoo State Hospital.
